Making and delivering homemade bread is a delightful way to support our neighbors – and for many of us who are teaching kids at home and working remotely and doing so much else for our family and friends, it just isn’t possible – or you might not particularly like making bread ;-).
Perhaps you could consider sending the money you might want to contribute towards bread supplies (many have asked me if they could pay me for the bread) to the Vermont Foodbank. There are so many whose lives have been upended by the economic devastation of social isolation from the Covid-19 pandemic and every contribution helps!
